AIM Zuellig School conducts OD Training for the Royal Government of Bhutan

(66) Department of Finance's Joselito Almario on Providing Financial Services to the Poor

microfinance_thumb25 July 2014 - Director Joselito S. Almario, Director at the Department of Finance and Deputy Executive Director of the National Credit Council (NCC), was the guest speaker at the Development-at-Work Forum held last 23 July 2014 at AIM, Makati City. He shared the story of  how the government and the private sector are working together to provide  financial services, particularly credit, savings and insurance to the poor. 


(65) University of Warsaw's Professor Alojzy Nowak on the Fiscal Problems of the Eurozone


25 July 2014 - Professor Alojzy Nowak, Vice Rector of Warsaw University, was guest speaker in the Development-at-Work Forum held last 22 July 2014 at the Asian Institute of Management. He discussed the fiscal problems of the Eurozone, its political and historical context, and offered possible scenarios for overcoming the present crisis. 


The AIM Zuellig School is coming to China!

 China_thumbnailThe  AIM Stephen Zuelllig Graduate School of Development Management will hold a promotional tour for its degree and non-degree programs in two cities in China: Kunming on July 27 at Grand Park Kunming Hotel, and Chengdu on July 29 at Li Yuan Xiang Hotel. 


(64) ADB's Hyun Son on Inclusive Growth in Asia

Hyun_thumbnail19 July 2014 - Ms. Hyun H. Son, Principal Evaluation Specialist at the Independent Evaluation Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), was the guest speaker at the Development-at-Work Forum held last 17 July 2014 at the Asian Institute of Management, Makati City. Her presentation was based on Chapter 2 of the report entitled “ADB’s Support for Inclusive Growth.” 


(63) Flowminder's Dr. Erik Wetter on Big Data for Development

Big_data_thumbnail18 July 2014 - Professor Erik Wetter, Assistant Professor at Stockholm School of Economics and co-founder of Flowminder, a non-profit applied research group based in Sweden, was our guest speaker in the Development-at-Work Forum held last 14 July 2014. He presented Flowminder’s pilot project that pioneered the use of anonymized cellphone data to map and predict population movement after the 7.3 magnitude earthquake in Haiti in 2010.
