APEC LSIF holds Policy Dialogue to Attain Blood Safety and Sustainability in Asia-Pacific

APEC_BLOOD03 October 2014 - The APEC Life Sciences Innovation Forum (LSIF) held a policy dialogue and workshop with the theme “Attaining a Safer and Sustainable Blood Supply Chain” last September 30 and October 1, 2014 at the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines. The event was co-organized with the World Health Organization, the Philippine Food and Drug Administration - Department of Health, and the AIM Stephen Zuellig Graduate School of Development Management.

IFR201428 September 2014 - The 4th International Field Review (IFR) Photo Exhibit featuring photo entries of the ten Learning Teams of MDM Class of 2014 was held last week at AIM, Makati City. The theme for this year’s photo exhibit is “MDM in Lao PDR: Asian Rural Development in Focus.”

crpd_thumbnail19 September 2014 - Last 18 September 2014, the AIM Zuellig School hosted a forum entitled “How much is the Government Spending on Persons with Disabilities?” Three guest speakers – Abner N. Manlapaz, Benjamin S. Bernandino, M.D. and Dr. Liza B. Martinez

 from the Philippine Coalition on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) were invited to shed light on government spending for persons with disabilities.

MDM Class of 2014 goes to Laos PDR for their IFR Course

MDM2014IFR_thumbnail18 August 2014 - Fifty-five (55) members of the MDM Class of 2014 all went to Laos PDR for their International Field Review (IFR) Course, a two-week integrating course in the Master in Development Management (MDM) Program. The IFR course allows students to look at selected development projects and assess field results versus project design.
