The case conference brought together stakeholders and experts to look at cross-cutting issues through a comparative analysis of Philippine tropical cyclones in the past seven years.

MDM 2015 holds IFR Country Briefing in Thailand

Held at Dusit Thani Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, the Country Briefing provided students some cultural, economical and political context. This is in preparation for their IFR immersion in 9 provinces in Thailand to review and assess different locally-implemented projects.More>>






Members of Bhutan's RCSC undergo local government leadership training

LLG_3.JPGThe partnership between the Royal Government of Bhutan and the Asian Institute of Management continued with a two-week leadership and management course, Leading the Local Government in Bhutan.  The course, which ran from July 20 – 31, equipped its participants with skills and knowledge on strategy, organizational performance and organizational development, anchored on the Bridging Leadership framework.

Communication for Communicators Year 3 application deadline extended to August 21
C4C logoThe Communication for Communicators (C4C) School, a 6-month blended learning scholarship, has extended its application deadline to August 21, 2015! The C4C aims to have scholars design and implement a localized health communication project on Local Health Communication Project targeting Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, Family Planning, Adolescent and Youth Reproductive Health, Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS.More>>

20150630_1.JPGZSDM co-organized “Mental Health and Psychosocial Well-being after Disasters: Global Updates & the Philippines’ Experience,” a videoconference held in partnership with the World Bank’s Tokyo Development Learning Center.  The talk featured Dr. Dinah Nadera of the Foundation for Advancing Wellness, Instruction and Talents, Inc., and Dr. Atsuro Tsutsumi of the UN University International Institute for Global Health.
