Certificate in Development Management Course in Laos PDR starts this week


20 November 2013  -  The Certificate in the Development Management course in Laos PDR commenced this week. This is an intensive three-week course that provides a systematic and professional introduction to development management with emphasis on managing and leading organizations. Opening ceremonies were held last 18 November 2013 at the National University of Laos in Vientiane.

AIM Triple A Awardee Governor Salceda chosen as co-chair of the UN Green Climate Fund
Salceda_thumbnail14 October 2013 - Governor Joey Salceda of Albay was chosen to co-chair the United Nations Green Climate Fund (UNGCF) board. The Fund has the goal to make "a significant and ambitious contribution to the global efforts towards attaining the goals set by the international community to combat climate change." 

Learning Team Phoenix wins IFR Photo Exhibit

LT4_310 October 2013 - Learning Team Phoenix of MDM class of 2013 won the International Field Review (IFR) Photo Exhibit. The team, composed of Zabra Siwa (Philippines), Annie Tupaz (Philippines), Diep Le (Vietnam), Dr. Luis Rodriguez (Philippines), Ashfaq Ahmad (Pakistan), Wesley Gonzales (Philippines) and Gomel Gabuna (Philippines), entered six photos with the theme "Women, Children and Smiles in Development Work."


2nd batch of Senior Officials from Timor Leste attend PSPM

PSPM batch 2A30 August 2013 - Twenty-five (25) Director-Generals from different ministries and agencies in the Government of Timor Leste attended the three-week Certificate in Development Management and Leadership course, which ran from July 1-19, 2013. This course was part of the Program for Senior Public Managers (PSPM) for Timor Leste that aims to build the capacity of senior public managers of the Government of Timor Leste through a series of non-degree and degree programs. 


MDM 2013 students visit Cambodia for their IFR Course

MDM in angkor23 August 2013 - The Master in Development Management (MDM) class of 2013 went to Cambodia for their International Field Review (IFR) Course last August 12 to 19, 2013. The IFR course is an integrating course in the MDM Program that allows students a chance to look at selected development projects/programs and assess field results versus project design.   


CDM conducts Strategic Legislative Course for Philippine Vice Governors

VG training22 August 2013 - The Center for Development Management (CDM) was chosen to conduct the Strategic Legislative Management Course for Philippine Vice Governors by the League of Vice Governors of the Philippines (LVGP). The course ran from August 14 to17, 2013 at the Asian Institute of Management, Makati City. The aim of the four-day course was to build the strategic management capacity of vice governors, the elected officials in-charge of the legislative branch of provincial governments.
